| The Winterport Winery, owned by Michael and Joan Anderson, opened its doors in the fall of 2001 but it really had its beginning in the Christmas gift of a home winemaking kit some 30 years earlier. What was a hobby then has now become a full time work and a family involved business - what used be stored in the family basement now occupies the 3200 sq. ft. winery and 1100 sq. ft. tasting room.
Our tasting room is a wonderful place to sample some of our wines. Come also to browse through our retail store and find that unique gift idea such as wine related items or something for that hard-to-shop for person.
Come in and meet us. You might see some of the family here or some of our friends who are all part of Winterport Winery.

Joan Anderson - Marketing/Tasting Room and Owner - Loves seeing people enjoy and taste the wines and finding fun and unusual items for the retail store.

Kristen Robertson - Daughter and occasional road warrior delivering our wine to your neighborhood wine shops, delis and restuarants.

| Ian Robertson - Son-In-Law and Connoisseur of fine wines and excellent cigars - Currently serving as a firefighter in multiple capacities here in Maine. |

Kurt Anderson - Webmaster/Tech Support and Son - Created and maintains our web page and fills in at bottling time or in the tasting room.

Rachael Anderson - Artist/Tasting Room and Daughter-In-Law - Her art graces our labels and is on display in the Anderson gallery.

Jody Connor - You name it - he does it and Friend - He may be downstairs bottling or labeling and you just might see him up "pouring" in the tasting room from time to time.

Annie Connor - Another great addition from the Connor household who you will find passing time in our tasting room with customers both new and old.
